Notice - Water Rate Change

After much discussion about the increases in contracted services, chemicals, maintenance, and equipment costs the Board of Selectmen believe in order to adequately maintain the water system, the rates need to be increased. The last rate increase was in 2016. 

• As of September 27,2021, the flat rate will go from $160.00 to $176.00 per year. 
• The price per one thousand gallons of water will go from $6.75 to $7.43. 

Moving forward the Selectboard will be looking at a smaller yearly increase to maintain the system and keep up with new state mandates that will go into effect at the end of next year.
