The Town of Lisbon is seeking a part-time Transfer Station Attendant to work up to 30 hours per week, and 35 hours per week when covering for vacations etc. The predicted hours will be Tuesdays 7-3:30, Wednesdays 12-7. Thursday 12-7 and Saturday 8-3. This is a non-benefited position. The successful candidate should possess a New Hampshire Solid Waste Operators Certification or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months of employment, possess a weighmaster license or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months of employment. The candidate must have good communication skills. Must be able to lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds, possess basic backhoe operation experience, be able to stand for long periods of time, keep recycling bins emptied. Must be able to use a cash register and do weekly financial reporting.
