Conservation Commission Public Informational Hearing

The Lisbon Conservation Commission will hold a public informational hearing on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 5:00 PM at the Lisbon Railroad Station, 25 Central Street, and remotely via Zoom (see link below)  The hearing will be to share information regarding designating the town owned property around Pearl Lake as a Town Forest under Article 9 of the 2022 Warrant.

Article 09
To see if the Town will vote to establish as town forest under RSA 31:110, the following parcels of land; Map R40  lots 17, 16, 15, 13 and 12, totaling 55.34 acres, consisting of a mix of land located within the FEMA Flood Zone for Pearl Lake, high value wetlands, grasslands, and a mix of hemlock hardwood habitat, to authorize the conservation commission to manage the town forest under the provision of RSA 31;112, II and to authorize the placement of any proceeds that may accrue from this forest management in a separate forest maintenance fund, which shall be allowed to accumulate form year to year as provided by RSA 31;113.
