Public Discussion – Bishop Road Return to Gravel – December 12th Selectmen’s Meeting

The Board of Selectmen are holding a public discussion to hear from residents about returning Bishop Road to gravel, from the existing aging pavement surface.

The discussion will be held at 5:30 pm on Monday, December 12th, 2016 at the Railroad Station at 25 Central Street.

The proposal will be to mill the entire length of Bishop Road using a contractor in the spring of 2017 to return the existing aging pavement to a gravel roadway surface. Estimated cost of the project will be $19,350 and funds will be taken from existing departmental overages, or from Roadway Improvement funding in FY 2017.

A representative of the Dept. of Public Works will be in attendance to answer any questions that the public has.
