Chairman Younkins opened a public hearing for applicant Richard Boulanger representing T. R. Dillon Logging of Maine requesting a variance and asks that said terms be waived to permit residential subdivision within the new Industrial Zone. The undersigned alleges that the following circumstances exist which prevent the proper enjoyment of his land under the strict terms of the Zoning Ordinance and thus constitutes an unnecessary hardship. The only access to the subdivision site is through the Industrial Zone and not conducive to Industrial development. The subdivision is located on Mt. Eustis Road known as R32 – Lot 26 and R49 Lot 01. Letters were read into record from the BOS, Chairman Liveston of the Planning Board and abutters K. Schofield and L. Crosby. The Board stated that Mr.
Dillon should have been aware in the beginning that this was under industrial zoning. Mr. Schofield stated his fears on the fact of having a residential development beside his Septage receiving area. Mr. Boulanger did state that the tax map did not show zoning for this property.
