Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes
Meeting Date: May 26, 2010
Selectmen Present: John Northrop (JN) Ruth Robar (RAR) Mike Carver (MC)
Absent: Town Administrator: Regan Pride (RP) and Administrative Assistant: Barbara Menchin (BM)
Acting Secretary: Ruth A Robar
JN opened the meeting at 1:30 PM
LISBON DEPT OF PUBLIC WORKS:
Kevin Clement (Lisbon Department of Public Works) reviewed with the Board the pipe bursting process which could be used to repair the sewer line near Dickinson Street. He presented quotes from two companies that specialize in this type of work. After discussing all the various known options, M.C. made the motion to repair the present line by the directional drilling method and for the Town to accept the bid from the Henniker Directional Drilling LLC. J.N> 2nd the motion. So voted all.
The Board requested KC to contact the Henniker Directional Drilling Company to obtain possible start dates and report back to the Board.
Approval for KC to arrange to camera the current line was given.
BOARD OF SELECTMEN:
The property tax warrant was reviewed and signed.
There will be no BOS meeting on May 31, 2010 due to the Memorial Day holiday.
RAR made the motion to adjourn, MC 2nd, so voted all.
Meeting adjourned at 2:20 pm.
