Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes
Meeting Date: April 7, 2008

Meeting started at 5:00 pm
Bills, manifests and minutes were read and approved.
SELECTMEN’S MATTERS:
The select board requested the Fire Department meet with them the 2nd Monday of every month. The select board also requested the Life Squad to start attending the 2nd Monday of every month’s meetings.
RAR asked what line item number is assigned to the Deputy Town Clerk’s position. BM to check with RP.
A reminder that the board will be meeting with Myers Builders Thursday, April 10 at 10 am.
The Board requested BM to check into getting signs for the Town Clerk/Tax Collectors door, the Selectmen’s office and the Town Administrator’s door.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT MATTERS: Barbara Menchin
BM has spoken with Jody Gagnon (Lisbon Life Squad) and she was told that there are 6 new applicants for the Lisbon Life Squad. Also three of her current members are back on full duty. Ms. Gagnon also told BM that there would be a DHART LZ (landing zone) presentation on May 3, 2008 at 9:00 am at the Lisbon Fire Department and a DHART (helicopter) landing training at 10:30 am at the Lisbon ball field on that same day.
BM informed the board that there have been a couple people asking about the land that is to be sold by the town by silent bid. The board asked RP to put an ad in the newspaper as soon as possible. Deadline for the bids to be May 15, 2008. Ads to be placed in the Caledonian Record.
BM gave a brief description of the upcoming Planning Board work session to be held April 8, 2008 at 7 and the Zoning Board meeting which is to be held April 9, 2008 at 6.
A motion was made by RAR to adjourn the meeting JN 2nd all in favor.
Meeting adjourned 6:30 pm.
