Guy Scaife gave the Town Administrator report:
· Commodity Supplemental Food Program is being reduced by 7% due to Federal cutbacks. An immediate impact to 15 Lisbon residents that will not be renewed in early February and an additional 15 residents will be dropped in April. It is too early to tell what impact this may have on requests for assistance from the town. It is unknown if and when funding levels may return to last year’s level.
· Update on the drainage issue described last week at the home of Karl and Carol Herzig. Partial repairs are expected to be made ASAP with the final solution completed in the spring. GS has briefed the Herzig’s on the plan of action.
· Request from Deb Tuck at the Dept of HHS in Littleton to assist a Lisbon resident with trash removal. Will investigate and help as appropriate.
· Pursuing cost estimates for the potential demolition of the Partstown structure.
· Financial Auditors began today in Lisbon with a second site visit on Wednesday 2/1/06. Formal report will be issued at completion.
· Pursuing multiple bids for Property Assessment Services. Plan service will be a multi-year contract providing 20% property assessment each year so that the entire property base is assessed over 5 years.
